This sweet and intimate spring wedding was filled with sentimental touches, a relaxed timeline, and so many flowers. Jamie and Andrew created a day that was both deeply meaningful and effortlessly joyful — a perfect reflection of their love story. From the cozy venue to the laid-back vibe and heartfelt vows, every detail was carefully chosen to keep the focus on what matters most: each other.

What made you choose the Inn at 835 for your wedding venue?
I wanted a small venue that wouldn’t feel too big for our intimate family wedding. The Inn at 835 felt just right. I loved the windows — I could already picture them surrounded by flowers — and knew it was the perfect space the moment I walked in.
Did you have a theme, style, or color scheme for your wedding?
Our date, 4/4, was chosen in honor of my grandparents’ anniversary. My grandma actually married us, which made it even more meaningful. They were married for 68 years before my grandpa passed in 2021. We didn’t have a strict theme — I just knew I wanted it to feel simple, personal, and full of love (and flowers!).

What personal touches made your wedding feel uniquely you?
The day was super casual, which we loved. We just hung out with our favorite people all day and never felt rushed. One of my favorite parts? We were home in bed by 7 p.m.! 😂 It was so us — relaxed, cozy, and ready for the honeymoon the next day.
Let’s talk about decor — how did you bring your vision to life?
I love flowers, so I knew I wanted them everywhere. True Colors did an amazing job bringing my vision to life. Beyond that, I kept things simple. The space was already beautiful, so we let the blooms shine.

What moment of the day stands out the most?
The first look and reading our vows privately to each other. That time together was so special and grounding.
What did you learn while planning your wedding?
Honestly, planning was easy for me because I’ve worked in the wedding world and helped plan so many other people’s weddings. I knew exactly what I wanted and didn’t stress the small stuff.

Any advice for other couples in the middle of wedding planning?
Don’t stress on the day of. Whatever happens is going to happen — and at the end of the day, all that really matters is that you got to marry your best friend.
